Liquid facelift & threadlift — a same-day, non-surgical lift, no scalpel and no overnight stay
A liquid facelift and a thread lift do the same job from two directions: they lift and firm a face that has begun to soften, without a scalpel and without general anaesthetic. The liquid side uses biostimulators — calcium-hydroxylapatite (Radiesse) and poly-L-lactic acid (Sculptra / PLLA) — placed in the deeper tissue, where they give an immediate structural lift and, over the following weeks, prompt your own skin to lay down fresh collagen. The thread side uses barbed PDO / PLLA threads passed under the skin to physically reposition and support the mid-face, jawline and neck. Used together they are a genuine non-surgical facelift: the change is mechanical and biological, not surface camouflage.
At HEC — a one-day daycare clinic in Istanbul, part of Bahat Medical Group (established 1994; a JCI- and TEMOS-accredited facility) — a liquid facelift in Turkey is a single appointment under aesthetic-medicine supervision. Roughly 45 minutes of treatment after a topical-numbing wait, then you walk out. No incision, no ward, no overnight stay unless you add a hotel night to rest.
What it is | Tool | What it is | What it does | |---|---|---| | Radiesse (CaHA) | Calcium-hydroxylapatite gel, placed deep | Immediate lift, then a gradual collagen build | | Sculptra (PLLA) | Poly-L-lactic acid, a collagen biostimulator | Slow, diffuse firming over several weeks | | PDO / PLLA threads | Barbed absorbable threads under the skin | Physically reposition and hold sagging tissue |
Sag or volume — the honest sort The most useful question is what has changed. A lift treats laxity; it does not fix an empty face.
| What you see | What it usually is | What we reach for |
|---|---|---|
| Jowl forming, jawline blurring | Laxity / descent | Threads + biostimulator |
| Mid-face flattening, "tired" look | Volume loss | Fillers — a different plan |
| Mild loose neck skin | Laxity | Thread lift in Istanbul |
If the real problem is lost volume rather than sag, the honest answer is filler, not a lift — the 24-hour plan says which, and why.
Choreography | Time | What happens | |---|---| | 09:30 | Consultation, face mapping, photos | | 10:00 | Topical anaesthetic, planning marks | | 10:45 | Biostimulator and/or thread placement (~45 min) | | 11:30 | Mirror review, aftercare walk-through | | 12:00 | Discharge from the lounge — a light day advised |
Who is a candidate Good fit: - Mild-to-moderate facial laxity, early jowling, mid-face descent - You want lift and firmness without surgery and without downtime - Realistic expectation: a refresh and reposition, not a surgical result
Not the right fit — and we will tell you plainly:
- Heavy, advanced sagging that only a surgical facelift will correct
- Active skin infection, or certain autoimmune or clotting conditions
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Anyone wanting a permanent, one-and-done outcome
